A few things I notice.
1) Our weakside defense was slow to recover, leading to open shots for WMich.
2) Trey Thompson is still struggling on defense.
3) Cooper is a solid point guard who needs to play big minutes for us to win.
4) Ola-Joseph is a nice surprise to watch
5) Payne is going to be a beast
6) Henley has a pure shot
7) Garcia and Battle will need to be healthy and the ball must go through them for us to be successful.
8) The kids need to value the ball and cut down on turnovers in order to win games

I noticed they hit a 3 at the buzzer, to score last, and make the game closer than it was.

Gophs need Battle in there. He will change all of the spacing with his shooting ability - and should open up some things inside for Garcia or Payne.

Someone has to be able to spell Cooper at PG. If not Samuels, then maybe Carrington?

Payne needs to learn how to avoid fouls. They will need his physical presence out there.

and beating the dead horse: bleep it, I wish I could see what this team looks like with Parker Fox in the middle.

Add in the ridiculously low FT% last night. Which I think we can reasonably expect to be closer to 70% and last night we’d have won by over 10.
