Minnesota Teams Making Themselves at Home in Arizona

Last week it was the Vikings taking it to the Arizona Cardinals and today the Gophers did the same to the Cardinals from Louisville. One more birdie team to beat in Arizona on New Year's Eve for the trifecta.

I was also impressed with the large contingent of Minnesota fans at both games. There must be a lot of Minnesota transplants down there. Hopefully, we'll see another big Minnesota turnout for the Bowl game.

the chicago tribune, which likes to ignore the gophers, when writing about the UL/MN game made some snarky comment about both gopher football and basketball being successful. at least they are taking notice.

Minnesota loving life in the desert!

I was at both the Vikings win and the Gophers win against Louisville on Saturday.

Does this mean I absolutely have to make the trip to the Insight Bowl now, in order to keep the positive momentum going?

I have a guy working on some tickets but it's not a done deal yet. But hey, I'm a team player and if the team needs me there, I should go, right?
