Minnesota head coach P.J. Fleck spent the 2010-11 seasons at Rutgers coaching the receivers.
Minnesota offensive coordinator Kirk Ciarrocca was the offensive coordinator at Rutgers from 2008-10.
Defensive coordinator Joe Rossi was the special teams coordinator from 2012-13 and the defensive coor- dinator from 2014-15.
Defensive line coach Jim Panagos coached the defensive line from 2012-15.
Receivers coach Matt Simon coached receivers at Rutgers in 2013 after working in player development in 2012.

Player Development guy Norries Wilson Wilson returns to Minnesota - his alma mater - after spending four seasons at Rutgers. He coached the running backs for the Scarlet Knights from 2012-15 and was also the assistant head coach for three seasons. Wilson's time at Rutgers also included a three-game stint as interim head coach in 2015.
Assistant strength coach Jeremy Cole was named an assistant strength coach at Minnesota in January 2017. Cole came to Minnesota after spending eight seasons at Rutgers, which included four years as the head of strength and conditioning.
Assistant trainer Arno Rheinberger worked at Rutgers since 2002 and worked witht eh Scarlet Knights' football team since 2005 before going to WMU in 2014. Rheinberger earned his bachelor's degree from Rutgers in 2000.
