Being rebuffed by Golden, Maturi then flew to visit stoops in the wee morning hours. Stoops told Maturi he'd need tickets to Disney World to sign so Maturi hopped on a plane back home 1 hour later to beg Bruinicks for $100 to be added to the budget. Maturi went to Orlando, picked up the Disney World ticket and 20 minutes later was back on the plane. At this point Maturi had 2nd thoughts and stopped in El Paso to see if Mike Price was interested. Price said no because he prefers the strip clubs in Jaurez instead of KOD. Maturi then proceeded to Stoops and will be back with him tomorrow.
 



Im not buying that this is our guy, but as promised earlier i was going to take the midnight to 3am shift at MSP.

Anyhoo, N2615s (some LLC in Chandler, AZ) landed MSP about an hour ago from Phoenix. Coincidence?

Also, N351CG (Cardinal Glass Industries) landed St Paul from Des Moines about 45 ago.
 

So they know the media will watch the airports

MSP both Lindburgh and Humphrey terminal, and the regional airports in Blaine, Chrystal and Eden Prairie. What are the chances they fly the jet into Rochester or St Cloud regional and then ride in on a convoy or something? Minnesota has a lot of boosters in Rochester and isn't this where Trestman rumor came about when he flew in there? What are the chances they try and sneak in through the back door and go there first and then to the Minneapolis campus and offices at Bierman. You know Joel has something cooked up his sleeve to try and avoid the media at all cost. Media must have caught wind where or what airport they are trying to sneak into?

I think the cat will be out of the bag once the coach meets with his ex team tomorrow morning. I mean, there's no way they'll be able to stop them from tweeting about it at that point. I suspect they'll fly into whatever airport is most convenient for them, since it will be a Smoot point by the time the plane lands.
 

I have given up hope that the plane can be tracked on FlightAware after reading in their FAQ section how easy it is to block your tail number from being tracked (all you have to do is ask).
 



Private jets do not taxi to the public terminals. They go to signature air which is surrounded by a fence. St.Paul airport also has a signature air.
 

So is it St Paul downtown or Holman field then

Just don't see them bringing the new coach in the public terminal where people can see him real well and are looking to hide from the media. As cloak and dagger as this search and staff has been there not coming into an area where there will be a lot of media cameras. This will probably be like Favre except it is not Ziggy's plane. Sneaking in late or early.
 

Helicopter landed in Bismarck to meet Craig Bohl from NDSU, who was on the way back from beating Montana State in Bozeman..
 

I heard they are landing in Hibbing and snow mobiling down. It'll avoid the press. Can you imagine Sid or Pat in Hibbing? And by the time they get to Dinkytown it'll seem warm.
 

This is the equivalent of tracking Santa's Sleigh on the Weather Channel on Christmas Eve.
 

This plane is on it's way to Los Cabos, any good coaches down there?

Santa has never coached against Big Ten competition.
Plus how can you recruit 17 and 18 year olds if they don't believe in you? Every other team would be negative recruiting by saying he doesn't exist.

This way they can stop by Maturi's old stomping grounds in Chisholm before heading down here. Just gotta make sure to avoid the mine dumps.
 

There's a flight from St. Louis into Red Wing at 1:12 PM. Gambling, work boots, or maybe St. Louis was first stop hide original destination.
