Minnesota-Middle Tennessee State Viewing Party at TCF Bank Stadium

The Gophers kick off the season on the road at Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 2. Join other Gopher Football fans to watch the game on the video screen at TCF Bank Stadium.

Admission to the stadium is free. Seating will be via general admission. Fans will be allowed to sit on the field, so bring a blanket if you'd like.

Concessions will be available for purchase -- however food and drink may not be brought onto the field. Please note that high-heel shoes are not allowed on the field.

The game will be televised on ESPNU.

Are the lots, like Northstar, open - will there be a fee?

Im sure there will be parking right around the stadium. But be warned... that area may or may not be jam packed with state fair goers. The lots around the stadium filled because of the state fair at around 11am.

Parking is in the Oak St ramp. Suspect the Fair has something to do with that.

I'm intending to go. If I manage to go, I will be taking my three year old. A good thing that they will be letting us on the field, because then I can let her run around some.
