Take her to South Beach, cheapskate.

Already bringing the family down there in 2 weeks. Not sure that would go over well!

I've got to believe it will be on ESPN or ESPN2.

Miami is the #1 kenpom team not invited to the tournament. I'm guessing we will be 3-4 point underdogs again.

You can't deny this tournament is a great experience for the team to build on.

I think 4-5 is likely as far as the opening line, but with respect to kenpom - remember that the ranking assumes their most valuable player Durand Scott will hit the court for 32 minutes, which he will not.

I can't believe I am thinking about dropping down to attend. But I am.

1-0 in non-conference road games this year!

No Durand Scott this should be a cake walk. Go Gophs

I'm totally in Panama City Beach for spring break next week. Here's to me finding a way to see the game. BTW i'm thrilled with how the Missouri Valley, Big Ten, and my Bulldogs / Gophers have yet to lose a tournament game so far; a pretty impressive start. Let's keep it up. Go Gophers!

Haha not to rip you, but I just looked it up and you'll still be about 600 miles away. I knew PCB and Miami weren't close, but I didn't think they were THAT far away. Damn panhandle.

I hear Coral Gables is beautiful, though. Hope you can find a way down!

If he is able to make it to the game I don't think it'll be too tough to find a seat. Only 1,229 according to the attendance figure for the Valpo game. http://espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=320742390

Wow. I guess it would be less of a disadvantage to play in an empty house on the road, but I LOVED the fact that La Salle's gym was packed with La Salle fans. It felt like a true road game...wouldn't hurt to get our young guys in those types of environments as often as possible.

3,000 fans cheering against you in a gym that small isn't going to be a cakewalk to play through. That was my point. Maybe I shouldn't have used the word 'packed,' but for an NIT game, it was a pretty good crowd.

From watching on the tube, I was surprised at the announced attendance. It looked closer to full than that.

I thought so too.

That attendance at the Miami game is embarrassing.

It must have been their Spring Break, no? And really, with the Heat playing so well I can't imagine there is a huge wave of support for Hurricanes Basketball--especially if people were hoping that they'd make the NCAA Tournament. There's probably a large fanbase that sees the NIT as a failure and doesn't want to shell out the money for it. I'd imagine the attendance during our game will be a bit better, especially if last week was Miami's Spring Break.
