Based on the comments from the Syracuse guy, their pass defense was really bad. Add to this they have three of their CBs are out for this game because of injuries. Therefore it will be very interesting to see how Kill and Company take advantage of this as a run first team. This may be the perfect storm for Minnesota to begin to establish the pass as something you need to defend besides against besides the run. We will be playing a very weak pass defense at a point where several of our receivers have now matured and gained significant experience during the past season. The same can be said for Nelson also. For me this could be the most interesting aspect of the game to watch. I wouldn't be surprised if after studying game films Limegrover is hard at work at in finding ways to exploit this Syracuse's weakness. The one thing that may prevent this from happening is that we are able to establish the run game without having to pass.
