Minnesota at Iowa will be on ESPN/ESPN2

That's good news. The more national recognition the better. If we are 4-0 at that point it'll be a big game for us.

I would have rather had that 2:30 slot that Marshal/Purdue got. I hate 11:00 AM games. Oh well, at least I will only be watching this one on TV instead of getting up early as I have to do for the 11:00 AM games at home.

We will be in Minneapolis that day, staying near the Dome. What are the designated Gopher bars in that area to watch the game at with fellow Gopher fans?

Huberts is right there ... Town Hall Brewery at Seven Corners ....

On the one hand, I'm pumped to finally be able to see a game (no access to B1G network). ON the other hand, please, please, please by all that is Holy and Sacred, PLEASE do NOT let us be embarrassed on "national" tv. I'm so friggin' gun shy at this point, it's not even funny anymore.

We have DISH. Good to see I won't to pull the trigger on them yet and go to DIRECT TV. They say they're negotiating. Fox says they're out for the whole football season. Media politics as usual.

we switched from Dish to Direct and like it better and a little less $ for a comparable package plus better equipment,
B1G is out on Dish

Anybody have a guess when we'll know the kickoff time for the Wisconsin game?

Thanks. That unfortunately is looking like it will be my only Gopher football game this season. Hopefully we take the axe.

Well, well, well... funny I happened to say that because it now turns out that my nephew, a student at Iowa, scored me a ticket so I am going to drive down for my first TCF South experience in Iowa City. It is especially sweet because I try to go to one away game per year and it was looking like this year was going to be an exception. On the other hand, I have yet to see a road victory on my travels so I hope I don't jinx Floyd.

I'd also prefer the 2:30 since we'll be getting in to Muscatine, IA (closest hotel I could book on points) at like 1am and we plan on tailgating before the game.

Glad this is an 11 am game. I'll actually get to watch it as I work on saturdays when we're on the road.

Luckily for me, my in-laws live in Coralville so I have a free place to stay and a 10 minute drive to the stadium. 11 am game time, eat my shorts.

Cool. This means I'll most likely get to see it as I get ESPN/2/3 with my Comcast internet.

+1 Sounds like me, but without the son at Iowa. I thought F.A.U. was going to be the jinx breaker for me, but no. USC had hope, but... Anyway, Break the Jinx for us Schnauzer! I wanna go to an away game in 13'.

Absolutely!! The whole BTN-Comcast relationship is royally frustrating since they do not offer BTN2Go through Comcast. That means I have to beg and scrape around to find access to BTN games.

Bunch of jerkfaces.

10 hours isn't enough time for tailgating?

I like your style.

The game was set at 11 by Iowa because it is their homecoming. Just like our game vs Northwestern is set for 11 allready. Unfortunately 2:30 wasn't even an option.

Switch to DirecTV, and as a new customer you'll get NFL Season Ticket for free. Plus, if you say you're thinking of switching from DISH, you can extract a lot of goodies.
