We are less than 24 hours from a big showdown between Minnesota and Penn State. Excitement continues to build and TCF Bank Stadium is sold-out for the first time since 2015. University officials are encouraging fans to arrive early and be ready for player introductions. In recent years, there hasn't been this type of hype for a Gopher football game.
Both Penn State and Minnesota had an extra week to prepare for the undefeated showdown. It is the second time in 40 years that two 8-0 Big Ten teams will meet at this point in the season. I'm anxious to see how each team schemes specific strengths and weaknesses. I produced several breakdowns and features ahead of this historic showdown.
