Minnesota All-Star game/dunk contest highlights

Thanks for putting this together. I imagine it takes time to edit the clips down and it's greatly appreciated.

Let's hope Rodney spends very little to no time working on his 360 dunks this offseason and instead works on his jumper, ball handling and mid-range game, but he sure will have Gopher fans on the edge of their seats.

Go Gophers!!

He really is just an athletic freak. He was just standing under the basket and throwing down put back dunks. As mentioned, he really needs to work on his jumper and ball handling, and he can be a special player. Regardless, he is going to bring everyone in The Barn out of their seats a few times this season.

Bleed, you're too much of a diplomat.

The first couple dunk contests I ever saw were interesting, but its just got old and boring to me. Now we see all these YouTube vids that show the same thing over and over, ...zzzz. I fear that for the highly athletic guys like RW, it becomes too much of a focus instead of working on things, like shooting and ball-handling, that actually win basketball games.

Meanwhile, a certain Euro-player, who's the same age as Rodney, has some truly interesting clips and will be a top two or three NBA pick if he declares this year. To paraphrase an old golf axiom, "Slam for show; shoot, dribble & pass for dough".

I can see him posterizing a couple of people like Summers? did for MSU last night.

If you want to push the ball and create, athletes like Rodney can do a lot of things. His hops can also help him on the defensive glass and disrupting on the defensive end.

Rodney will get his playing time. Tubby will get him focused on what he needs to work on and he is going to give us some productive minutes sooner than later.

wow....he did a 360 from what looks like a couple feet inside the free throw line...that's just sick
