After listening to Mason today on KFAN I think he's right about what way our search will go. He made the point about minimizing risk and that we'll go with an experienced head coach over an assistant. I suppose we can take Maturi's proclamation that he wanted to hire the next Tubby Smith to mean don't expect another unproven assistant. That's not a 100% guarantee, but I feel strongly that some time in the first or second week of December Maturi will be introducing a coach with significant head coaching experience.
