Michigan's new indoor practice facility. Claims "Taj Mahal of locker rooms."

The new locker room came at a cost of $1 million and was called "the Taj Mahal of college football" locker rooms by longtime U-M equipment manager Jon Falk.

Okeee - dokey there Jon boy.

Scroll down the photo gallery of the their new indoor practice facility. Locker rooms are in pics #2 and #3. I think Bo Schembechler and his assistants sat around watching game film in the chairs pictured.

Now to be fair...this is the locker room at their practice facility.

That's exactly the point...why would he say something so stupid? It's not as though he said the "Taj Mahal of practice locker rooms".

Long time equipment manager. 'Nuff said. :)

A few schools would argue with that. Everyone on GH should have seen our new locker room but there are some other schools that have some pretty sick facilities. I'm not sure if my Youtube embedding worked so I included the link on Youtube too.

What Phil Knight/Nike money can buy you:

Yes, it is two stories.

I bow down to the superiority of the Oregon locker room. That thing is ridiculous.

Something interesting I noticed from grunkie's photos. The Texas lockeroom has the big longhorn logo in the center with the words to the fight song painted in the area around it. The U has the big M light in the center and should be (at least it was touted in the tour I took) be painting the words to the Rouser in the area around the M. Possible that Brew brought this idea with him? I don’t mean it as a slam…I could care less since I think both were GREAT ideas. Just something I noticed and found interesting. :)

I noticed the similarities too and I think it seems very likely. Considering Brewster had a big part in designing our locker room and he spent a lot of time in the Texas locker room it makes sense it would influence him. I think it is only natural that you mimic what you know. TCF Bank Stadium took design elements from Memorial Stadium for the exterior and Purdue for the suite & club level. I don't have a problem with stealing design elements from any other program. I wish we had the money to copy what Oregon has built. :D

Clemson's locker is also pretty dang nice. It's worth looking at these tour's of the lockerroom.

Also the entire Nebraska football complex is crazy sick maybe its not as edgy and modern as the Quack Attack but nothing like a 40 foot waterfall as the first thing a recuit sees to impress them.

Also I believe USC is in the middle of the planning for a new football complex, yes that's right Pete has been winning that big with out of date falicities, and it doesn't take a big strech of the mind to think how insanely crazy nice that place could end up being
