I believe our Golden Gophers will come out with focus and renewed intensity this Saturday after last week's let down. Playing every weekend at an emotionally high level is difficult for younger players not to mention the older guys, in such a physical game. Most folks don't have any idea how high the level of physical intensity and violence is required to succeed in a D 1 football game. To be mentally prepared for high level competition every week is challenging. Many cannot handle the stress. But the guys will be ready to play this Saturday. Resiliency!

I sure hope so. I hate to lay out a lot of cash for a ticket and get a nasty surprise.

The best thing you can say about MSU this year is that they've been competitive in parts of some of their B1G games.

Can't take anything for granted but this is one we should win....if we play well.

Drake has had an up and down year (expected for a freshman) but has been much better overall at home so hopefully getting back home against a weaker opponent will help him have a strong performance.

The Gophers are 3-0 after the worst 3 losses that come to my mind in PJ's tenure - 2018 vs Illinois and Nebraska and 2021 vs Bowling Green. So far they've been good at bouncing back after those types of games and not letting them ruin the season.

I wish we were better at not getting punched in the face.
We're just trying to do what Rocky always did. The only problem is that our games aren't long enough for the other teams to fatigue from all of the punches they throw.

They also followed up the 2023 northwestern comeback with a win vs Louisiana

They followed up 2023 Purdue with a loss to Ohio state

This team is straightforward when it comes to home and away games, but I still don't know what to think.

I wouldn't put any money on the Gophers but Michigan State has been consistently bad this season. I think our homefield advantage will be put to good use and we bounce back.
