The Pioneer Press ran a story today about the 2003 Michigan game. I found it interesting, and a bit funny, that Michigan AD Bill Martin wrote Maturi a check for $100 to help fund an on campus stadium because he was so upset about playing on a Friday night. (due to a Twins game)
He even showed at the groundbreaking for TCF Stadium in 2006.
