What I think is great, the Gophers had just as good of season than Duke. At one point in the Gopher season we were rolling, that changed rather quickly

Hurt could actually throw down some decent dunks in warm ups and stuff. Never showed any type of aggression in games to do something like that.

Hurt hits on what I think is an important point: Ben Johnson played DI basketball; Richard Pitino did not. I do think this creates a better understanding between coach and player and fosters some level of mutual respect. Does not guarantee success, obviously, but I think it can help.
