Miami Pipe Dream Wonky Stadium Pics

Miami, endlessly struggling with the fact that they can't have an on campus stadium, has put out some amusing pics of a ... kinda a crappy stadium design.


It's closer to campus than their current home, but still 3 miles away... it has some wonky ass thing hanging from the roof that appears to do nothing at all. There is almost no shade outside the very top seats (it is Miami ...). The seats are like a mile from the field. Oh and uh ... nobody has any clue who would pay for this thing.

But they're trying!

I'm glad we managed to get back on campus.

I think it supposed to be inclosed except for an oval opening above the field but is designed to look open completely. I'm sure the architects and engineers have something planned for minimizing UV exposure!

Weird oval field shape and seating pitch for a football stadium. Are they planning to use it for jai alai too??
