I like the Gophers' chances in this game. The coaching staff has experience against this team, I would think. Does anyone know if Miami has changed up their scheme at all?

They didn't play this week, so we've only been able to see them in one game. They preformed pretty well in a 17-7 loss to Missouri. There were too many blown opportunities this week, hopefully we can get this fixed.

Most difficult game on the non-conference schedule. Was 10-4 last year, return a bunch of starters, and has a good coach, unlike USC. Beat NIU in the MAC title game last year. If we don't figure something out this week, we will get stomped.

I realize Sagarin means little to nothing this time of the season, but I wonder why Sagarin is so down on Miami. They have them as 9th in the MAC, and #121 overall. Sagarin has us at #120.

They will know their personnel very well. However, Coach Treadwell is new and I believe they've changed things up. Of the NC games I thought we'd win, I personally felt this one was going to be most challenging due to new coaching staff (@Miami), their performance against MIZZOU, & the 2weeks they've had to get healthy and prepare.

What is really sad is it will be played in front of about 40,000 people unless there is an emotional outburst for coach Kill with what happened this past Saturday. Kill really needs to stick with his best front seven on defense. Probably yesterday he was alternating because of the heat and to me there was a considerable fall off regarding intensity because of all the switching.

It's hard to predict that far out, but weather.com has the high temperature for Saturday the 17th at 70 degrees. If this is accurate, it should remove the heat as a factor.

This. I was ecstatic with the student turnout yesterday. The outcome of the game really hurts. Gopher fans are bandwagoners. I could just hear the pessimism from a few students behind me as soon as NMSU scored their first TD.

I am fired up, my first trip to the new stadium. Looking forward to watching the Gophers outdoors.

NDSU also has a bye the week prior to playing us to get healthy and prepare...schedule is not helping us at all.
