Miami Herald says today the five top candidates (excluding Gruden?) are Harbaugh, Mike Stoops, Mullen, Edsall and Utah's Whittingham.

They can have Stoops and Edsall.

We're not getting Gruden, Harbaugh, or Whittingham.

Mullen is the only one with any crossover potential between the two searches.

Colorado's top list included the likes of Les Miles, Troy Calhoun, and Mike Bellotti. I don't believe any of them are going there. Not to say Miami won't get one of those five, but just saying, having a top candidates list means little.

Even still - they can't hire all of them, and others that I like (Leach, Hoke, Belotti, Calhoun, Golden, Kill (of course)) aren't even mentioned.

Edsall is the new Glenn Mason. Get your name in on every job.

Funny how programs that so many say are better than us apparently are interested in some guys that we say aren't good enough for us.

+1. Amen, agree 100% on all points.
