"Thank you for your support of Golden Gopher Men’s Basketball! Excitement is high for the 2017-18 season and we can’t wait to see you back in the Barn this fall.
On Sunday, October 29th, you can get a sneak peak of the Men’s Basketball team as they host their Maroon and Gold Scrimmage. The scrimmage is free for all fans and begins at 5pm in Williams Arena. Afterward, the team will participate in post-game autographs.

The Gophers will return four starters and 11 letter winners from last year's squad which won 24 games, finished fourth in the Big Ten standings and earned a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

MAROON & GOLD SCRIMMAGE SET FOR OCTOBER 29 The free event at Williams Arena will feature an intrasquad game as well as an autograph session.

Gopher fans will be able to get their first look at the Minnesota men’s basketball team on Sunday, October 29, as the team announced its annual Maroon & Gold Scrimmage
The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. at Williams Arena and is free and open to the public.
Fans will watch as the team splits into the Maroon and Gold squads, where they will play a one-hour scrimmage. Following the game, the team will be available for autographs in Williams Arena.
Minnesota officially began the 2017-18 season last week with official practices, and returns five starters and 10 letterwinners from last year’s team which won 24 games and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Included in that group are four 2016-17 All-Big Ten players including first team selection Nate Mason, third teamer Jordan Murphy, All-Freshman honoree Amir Coffey and Defensive Player of the Year Reggie Lynch
