As i know you read the gopher hole first thing in the morning. GET TO WORK on the in bounds pass against the press especially late in the game. Rodney doesnt seem to be the guy. Wow that was bad. When they did get the ball in it was usually to a guy in the corner who was boxed in. Luckily Andre did a fine job getting out of some of the situations and managed to call time out or get fouled.

I assume that Rodney inbounds because he's a poor foul shooter yet not somebody you want to pull out of the game. But yeah, that needs work.

Yeah, after the 'triple injury' play, Chip came in and was inbounding. My first thought was WHAT? WHY? Then I remember his FT %, and calmed down. Thought maybe since Ralph was supposedly available, that they might bring him in to make that inbounds.

We need a double screen for Andre with him making a jab step to the right, then back to the left and then back to the right..two screeners for him with his quick, jitterbug fakes should do the trick.

Coleman is the one that airmailed the other in bounds too.

Thankfully our guards are pretty lights out from the FT line this year, or last night could have gotten really ugly. Welch, Hollins, Hollins, and even Coleman are pretty solid FT shooters.

Lucky that the Hollins boys didn't crack skulls and knock themselves out running into each other trying to get open on the inbounds. Everyone just seemed totally confused at the end of the game (and that's not the first time we've said that this year.) At least they knocked down the FTs!

Not all of this is on Tubby's shoulders. Regardless of what play you draw up, the other team will probably counter. Typically on that sort of inbounds play you have your two guards set a pick for one another in hopes that one will get lose, but MT is long and athletic and made great switches on those screens. It comes down to the guys ability to shake lose from his defender, and really utilize the screens that are being set. Also, the guys at half court need to do a better job of crashing to the ball to be the safety valve (although I would prefer if EE never shot a free throw).

What I noticed on the late situation in-bounds plays is that not one player came to the ball...everyone was running back. I would like to add another item to the memo if you will allow: TUBBY PLEASE DO NOT PLAY MAV ANYMORE UNLESS THE GAME IS OUT OF HAND! The 5 minutes or so he was in the game was some of the ugliest basketball I have ever seen...5 turnovers and no shots in his time manning the point.

Did anyone notice that we didn't have a mobile tall player to throw it to? That's when we missed Ralph. Really?
