I really liked the way he played (on his Hudl highlight). I know it is a snap shot but the kid looks talented and I am very happy for him and the Gopher football program.
 



Does anyone else believe the smiles are just beginning for Gophers football fans the next 2 weeks?

ESPN likes him: Holland is an impressive, under the radar player that we are surprised has slipped through the cracks he's very similar to another WR in this class Chris Godwin committed to Penn State. He has the coveted measurables and playmaking ability necessary for the BCS level of play. He should be seeing more interest in our opinion.

Fantastic news, welcome to the Gopher family, Melvin Holland jr. and Mom, dad and sibblings. Another Brick in the wall, and Leidner and the QB's just got better today with another weapon. This kid has a very bright future in football in front of him(he can achieve to play on Sundays). Best of luck to him and best wishes in your days as a Gopher and finding the right major when at the U.
The Gophers are closing the gap on the Big 10, it started last year but this years class is bringing us closer to the goal of being Big 10 champs. I can see guy's like Holland, and Jeff Jones, and Ragnow(if he is a Gopher) with Roses in their teeth at TCF some day in the next three years.

Pantherdweeb must be getting the night sweats, and shatting himself all kinds of brown, after this great news. He becomes more irrelevant to our Gopher recruits by the day and committment.
 

Outstanding! I have a feeling he will be playing in the fall, no red-shirt needed with this guy! Welcome aboard!

Needed to land a WR badly and it certainly appeared from the outside like Holland was their number 1 target left on their board for over a month. Congrats to Melvin for choosing the U and to the coaches for landing him.

Almost positive you can change the title yourself if you go to edit and click advanced.

Oh, and huge get! Really, really wanted him.
 

In my opinion, yes. I'd take all three if I could and if all could play right out the gate they would be on the field. The advantage with three however would be obvious. You could red shirt at least one of them and still be in great shape.
 


Great news and welcome. Holland can be what the next Eric Decker.
