Anyone with a subscription to GI want to give us the McDonald update? It would be very appreciated!!!

he says he is going to look around. says he will look at iowa and ohio state more closely then will make a decision. will visit iowa at end of this month. likes the gopher coaches. feels at home with them. likes that family can watch him closely likes that gopher coaches treat him like a son and not a player.

So it seems the air is as clear as mud.

Thanks Go4. Always nice to have someone post what we wanted to know before the premium content screams come.

I'll give you a better summary: "I will not be playing at Minnesota because I now think I am above them, but I want to remain a soft verbal until I pick my new school so the natives don't get restless"

Let me translate this for others:

"Hi my name is RoyalGopher and i'm too cheap so gimme gimme gimme!"

Your point? It's recruiting information behind a paywall, not the codes to a nuclear arsenal.

The article reads nothing like that. Besides committing too early, Andre seems like a good kid.

Exactly.

Well thank God for Andre's sake that that stuff isn't important enough to keep a commitment. Perhaps he can go on to Ohio State to be just another number. I know the $$$$$ from the Boosters there is tempting, but the NCAA will be watching closely. At this point, for the next couple of years, what's the possible lure of OSU for an out-of-stater? Cheap tattoos?

As for Iowa, what's his connection there, if any?

No harm in paraphrasing. It isn't against the law!

Actually it is. If I were you I would burn off your fingerprints, destroy your hard drive and get the hell out of town. The Feds are going to be on you like corn on the cob.

Kuato- First, I can't really afford a subscription to the premium sites. Second, I don't expect anyone to give me the premium information. I don't even think I'd necessarily give the info out from the premium sites if I subscribed. I just appreciate those that do give the info out. So, thanks again Go4!

cmon, with Iowa I heard he loves to block and catch 5 yards slants a couple times a game. Also, he doesnt want to play in the NFL, so when he heard Ferentz hasnt had one of his WR recruits drafted his interest was renewed.

He gets to skip 2-a-days after the S&C coach "works" him into the hospital. And then he gets to be a drug mule for the upperclassmen. Pretty good deal, if you ask me.
