His string of double doubles ended tonight.. He only had 9 rebounds. And I thought he was a force inside. Boy am I dumb???????

I was watching his pts/reb stats all game. He was well on his way at the half. I was screaming when he pulled down #9 in the last seconds. If only UNC had chucked one more up for him at the end...

P.S. 12 pts and 9 reb against #8 UNC is sick.

Sampson played well...but you were "screaming" for no reason; Sampson ended the game with 6 rebounds, not 9.

Talkin' 'bout Mbakwe here.
Wow...all of the posts blending together. My apologies.

Agreed on your screaming then...it would've been nice to see Trevor get his 4th double double in 4 games. He is a huge difference maker this year...just a beast of a player.

He's a game changer

How about his dunk over the trees? They are VERY athletic with Nolen, Sampson, Mbakwe and Williams on the floor. Very good defensively too.

Mbakwe averaging 13.5 ppg and 10 rpg after 4 games. Nice PF numbers (if he can keep it up).

I for one had a hard time believe that Mbakwe was as good as his hype coming into the season. I heard he was a difference maker and an inside force. He actually met all those expectations. I'm glad he didn't go to Mephis.
