Yeah, what worthy Gen Zer is interested in actual history? He should be going to a BLM “peaceful” protest or a White Fragility conference.

What stupid f’n post.

You suggesting that he’s a Hitler supporter. That is truly a disgusting accusation based on the tweet. This kid was accepted to the Naval Academy, had a terrible accident that made that impossible, but instead of feeling sorry for himself, worked his rear off and became an entrepreneur, then beat the establishment choice for a GOP primary House seat.

Yeah, he’s a real scumbag.

HOWEDA7 - The far left and far right have long been warning about neocons taking over the Republican Party. Turns out they are right. Only the “neocons” in question aren’t the neoconservatives — a small group of intellectuals, in whose ranks I have often been included, who have espoused a values-based foreign policy and a centrist domestic policy. Many of us have left the GOP in disgust over the rise of Trumpism. The neocons who are now in the ascendancy are the neo-Confederates who have been encouraged to come into the open by President Trump’s unabashed appeals to racist and xenophobic prejudices.

I really don't want to call the FAR LEFT true Democrats!

And the right has been speaking for some time about the Far Left wanting to turn the U.S.free market/capitalistic system into a far left Socialist system & re write the constitution. Example ANTEFA and the BLM Socialist organization. In the 1st amendment, the freedom of speech amendment, was first and foremost set up so that people could protest the government PEACEFULLY without retribution from the U.S. Government like the colonist and European systems did. I believe police reform is needed, but peaceful black protests speaking out for a just cause have been completely silenced by the FAR LEFT's ANTEFA & BLM Marxist with their rioting, fire bombing attacking people that disagree with them & attacking police. To these groups only they deserve to be heard, through rioting if necessary, and the 1st amendment of freedom of speech only belongs to them.

The other day Pat Buchanan said that the Republican Party is all in on Trumpisn and that there's no going back. He said this in a positive way, by the way, meaning he's for it.

So the circle is complete: the corrupt Nixon administration joining hands with the Trump administration. Buchanan is the bookends.

What we're hearing in this is that the mainstream Republican Party is all in on the end game: the consolidation of power and minority rule. They see the demographic writing on the wall, and this is the move they have to make right now or they're done for the long term. As it was in the Soviet Union, the party supplants the state as the power structure.

I'm not easily stunned anymore, but I found this stunning. In summary, a prominent Republican strategist who ended up completely disillusioned with a party he once thought was about ideas--and probably was at some point--but is now solely about attaining power for the sake of attaining power. A must read for students of politics and history. (From the September/October issue, pre-dating the election)

Or. FDR was in many ways fascist. Internment vamps based on race? Check. Government control of private economy? Check. Attempts at absolute power they court packing? Check.
The problem is that most progs really have no clue what fascism really is. It’s more than just the holocaust or world conquest.

Facists typically put down protests with violence, especially labor unrest. Who is big on that?

You're going to see more and more desperation like this as the Dems see more and more black and hispanic voters moving towards the right. Just watch the next couple years, even if Trump isn't in the WH, the screams of RACIST and WHITE SUPREMACIST are not going to diminish one bit.

And of course you'll see more and more black people viciously attacked and belittled for casting votes for the GOP, which is really sad and unnecessary. What a sad state of affairs, to brutally attack people for thinking for themselves

He wants to, if you believe what he says.
He's deeply jealous of Putin, Erdogan and other dictators. He absolutely would have used troops against Americans in Portland elsewhere if Esper had gone along with it. 2 would excuse it and wave his pom poms.

There have been violent leftist uprisings all over the country and he did not act, letting governors make the call to bring in the guard. I mean, this is absolutely pathetic on your part.

Better let spoof know.

You guys spent 2 weeks freaking out of a high school kid smiling. I don’t think your party would have put up with the violent riots, political intimidation, attacking of journalists, looting and destruction if it was done by the right. But Trump turned out to not be the dictator you hoped he was. I don’t know many dictators who need Esper (???) to “go along with it”. How sad you all are.

Your admission that you were incorrect is accepted.
Portland has had 8 consecutive months of violent protests. For two weeks, when the federal buidings were being attacked and lit on fire, yes, federal troops were sent in to defend. I personally opposed it, let Portland burn down. But it’s certainly not an example of authoritarian behavior by Trump. It was a pretty puny response. How sad that you think Trump was a dictator. If and when we actually get a dictator, I think even you will be able to tell the difference.

The Dems would do very well politically to decouple themselves from the meme that they only support the non-white communities. Their policies support the vast majority of the same people who hate them the most, and that messaging is lost in the facade of being a pro-minority party.
