Maturi On Private Jet

It's kind of burried in another thread on a different topic, but rumor is that Maturi is out of town today using a private jet. My thought is that you use a private jet to bring back the next head coach. Reasonable assumption?

It could make sense. Press conference tomorrow, publicity all day Saturday during the games.

You do realize that no one has any information at all supporting this, correct? The guy just went online and looked up random flights and saw one from Anoka to Philadelphia and now it's turned into OMG!!!!! Maturi's on that flight!!!!!

No there was a source saying that Maturi was using a private jet. Then a guy went online and looked up the flights. People are more having fun then OMG.

Still, it's worth checking out. If Maturi is on a private jet to talk to a football coach, we can pretty much eliminate flights that are not going to where any candidate might be. Its worth someone visiting the airport at 3:39. It would be cool to scoop the media.

No, Maturi is definitely out of town on a private plane. The rest is just speculation.
 



My sources say he is on a train and going to slip the media and ride a horse.
 

Maturi being on that flight is total speculation. For what it's worth - maybe not much - several sources say he is out of town and Doogie claims he's on a private jet. I don't believe Doogie very often, but it's more believable than some of the other stuff I've heard.
 


There's really nothing to it. I just talked to Delta and they said he did not have enough FF miles to get a free flight to Brewster's Condo in Florida so he was going to stand on the runway and hitchhike.

(You guys better get a life...another 2 weeks to go!).

You're high if you think an announcement is two weeks away.
 


IMHO Maturi using a private jet is simply a case of learning his lesson. He got recognised taking a commercial flight to meet with Hoke he's not making the same mistake.
 


Maturi was heard commenting that he didn't know when he'd be back again.

Philadelphia is a little too much in the general direction of Montreal for me to feel comfortable.
