lucky to escape Illinois...

upcoming weeks: host Kent State, host Iowa on a Friday night, at Ohio State, bye, then in Mpls.

like getting film on them after facing two top ten teams, they may be beat up

Just my opinion, but I expect Maryland to do what Maryland does: Start the season well by out-athleting people, but eventually come back to earth as they put more on tape and their poor coaching takes over. They'll beat (or hang tight with) somebody they shouldn't like Iowa, Mich, PSU, OSU...but I'd be surprised if they win more than 6 games.

After three games, Maryland is averaging over 515 yards on offense and 37+ points per game. As in prior years, the Terp’s have great talent at offensive skill positions, especially WR. Already have over 1000 receiving yards. This will be the kind of game in which our grind it out, control TOP approach should yield dividends, so long as we don’t fall to far behind. If our defense keeps progressing, esp. with a DL pass rush and a “spy” assigned to the QB, I think we can win this game, even if it gets reasonably high scoring.
