Five assistant coaches left in the off-season. I believe their recruiting coordinator did as well.
 

I am not a Maryland fan and I can't pretend to know how much these departures will actually impact their efforts to build a program that can be competitive annually in the Big Ten. That said, as a Gopher fan I always feel for programs where it seems that any positive step forward is quickly met by a step or two back. That certainly has been my experience here. It demonstrates how truly rare it is for a school to go from also ran status to annual contender.
 

I'm just glad they moved on from the awful head coach/strength coach that killed a kid. Saw recently that a settlement was reached.

I hope all these coaches bailing isn't a sign of more "wrongdoings" going on with the MD football program.
