"I can honestly say I haven't watch this much film my whole life and spring ball hasn't even started yet...finally a QB again!!"

Go Gophers!!

Great to see that he is showing some solid leadership. He really is a great guy.

We are all happy is a QB again too.
Wish he would have redshirted and just backed up QB last year. Wasted eligibility. He came in looking like he might be the gopher football programs savior.....still might be, but he will have to do it playing only 2 years at his natural position.

Without him last year McKnight would have had double coverage all of the time. It would have been really ugly, yes uglier than it was, if we could not at least pass when we actually called a passing play. There would have been several more games as ugly as OSU without being able to move the ball in the air. It was the only thing on the team that worked for 2/3 of the season.

Hope that doesn't happen to the extent you are implying next year. Fingers are crossed on Green and others to help out Da'jon. Still can't believe he didn't even make honorable mention with 10 TD's

I am always overly optimistic this time of year so take it for what it's worth, but I am super excited to watch Gray for entire season at QB. His athleticism could very well keep us in games that we may be out classed in.

Coach Kill will have to tweek his offense a bit to allow our QB's (Gray, etc) skills to catch up and develop. He has no Harnish to rely on. Of course, a main key will be the development of the OL to provide solid run and pass blocking. And our WR/TE's to tune in and sharpen up their blocking and receiveing skills.

The whole offense will all be pretty much on the same learning curve.

Gray had more effect on the Big Ten portion of the schedule from the QB position last year....and he only got about 7 series at QB.

This. Ditto on McKnight. Brew wasted his redshirt so he could catch 1 pass in 2008. Stupid.

Can't argue with that. If not stupid at least very very dim.
