Maroon-Gold Scrimmage Set for October 25

The University of Minnesota men's basketball team will give fans its first look at the 2015-16 Gophers on Sunday, October 25 at Williams Arena as it hosts the annual Maroon-Gold Scrimmage. The event, which is free and open to the public, will tip off at 4:00 p.m. with doors opening to the public at 3:30 p.m.

Before the game, fans can take part in contests and giveaways throughout the Barn, and following the scrimmage, Gopher student-athletes and coaches will be signing autographs for approximately 30 minutes on the Williams Arena concourse.

Gaston is a returner and so is one of the walk one. Gilbert is new and so is sharp.

I never know who to root for in this game lol. Be fun if they did a dunk and three point contest as well. Also wish it was on a Friday night like two years ago. Maybe in a couple years if were relevant we could do a midnight madness

That would be interesting to see.

I also miss the dunk and 3 point contests and the U of M pushing it as a Friday night event. Mostly I just miss watching Rodney, Trevor, and Austin do crazy sh!t in those.
