Found this information off of Max Preps. (I believe this is Tom Lemming's recruiting site linked w/ CBS Sportsline.

He list him as a top player. The #21 ranked interior lineman.

Mark Lenkiewicz Andrew Football Athlete Notes 09-10

Lemming Notes: Here is another Chicago area OT who is quickly moving up the ranks of top OL prospects. On Film–He has good feet, is an aggressive downfield blocker that plays through the whistle, and is exceptionally fast off the ball. Quick enough to play DE, he is strong enough to handle hard-charging pass rushers. Thin looking at 255 pounds, he should weigh close to 300 pounds within two years. He is blessed with very good speed and lateral quickness, takes good angles to his blocks, and he excels at second level blocking. Stats–Earned 1st Team All-League honors at OT. Other Sports–He has thrown the shot put 45' and the discus 135' in track. Grades–His GPA is 3.6 and he scored a 26 on the ACT. Benches 280 and has a 27" VJ. Favorite Schools–Committed to MINNESOTA.

Also found this regarding Jimmy Gjere:

Gjere is his #11 ranked OT behind the obvious Seantrell Hendersen @#1.

Jimmy Gjere Irondale Football Athlete Notes 09-10

Lemming Notes: His coach calls him a monster with the best hands on the team. On Film–This super prospect dominates his RT position the way Seantrel Henderson dominates the LT position. He is an assuming prep superstar who gets a quick jump off the ball and demonstrates a devastating punch that will shock would-be pass rushers. Can get his quick hands on defenders before they know it and can normally turn them any which way but loose. He has lightening-quick feet for a 295 pounder and can do a good job of adjusting and blocking effectively out in space. Has the athleticism to slide out and mirror would-be pass rushers. He seems to do everything with an ease rarely seen in prep OL's. Ranks among the top five OL prospects in the Midwest and on film, believe me when I say this, there are few better. Stats–He only allowed 3 sacks during his entire prep career and last season earned All-League and All-Area honors at RT. He has the frame to weigh well over 300 pounds in college. Other Sports–He is a standout in hockey and is a closer in baseball with an upper 80s fastball. Grades–His GPA is 3.5 and he scored a 20 on the ACT. Favorite Schools–Committed to MINNESOTA.

Both these guys have great feet and acceleration, watch their highlight tapes, both are really quick.

I am currently on Maxpreps.com and looking through Lemmings Top Players and I a becoming even more confident that our recruiting class this year is going to turn out to be a great one. We are in on a lot of guys.

Lemming also has Donnell Kirkwood as his #18 ranked RB.

Also says we are in on #15 James White, #19 ethan Grant(whom we just hosted), and #21 Brandon Gainer.

It's great to get the press, but there's no denying Lemming plays his favorites. Brewster is a decided favorite of his.

i see where you are coming from, but i disagree with your premise. lemming has been doing this for something like 20-30 years. he doesn't make his rankings soley on that fact that he and coach brewster might be friends, which i am sure lemming is with MANY D-1 football coaches around the country.

Lemming has his short comings but no one does a better job with players from the Midwest.

He does play his favorites, one of those was Bill Callahan as well and most of his highly ranked recruits according to Lemming turned out to be duds. Lemming was even called out for playing favorites by Gary Barnett when he was at Colorado. I am not saying these recruits will be duds at all but you have to take him with a grain of salt as he appears not to be able to remain as objective as some of the other sites out there.

I also like the GPAs and the ACT scores. I am all for winning, but love the student-athlete concept!

i believe its true that he might favor to favorites but at the same time he isnt coming from left field with his rankings. other services have these guys ranked as well, just not as high on some of the prospects, but i wouldnt be surprised to see some of our recruits jump up a little in the rankings when its all said and done with for the year. brewster and his gang seem to have an eye for talent

Best part of these evaluations is the quick feet. Big, strong kids with quick feet are needed at LT/RT. You can help them get stronger, but it is hard to teach speed and quickness.
