We're in a bold new world now. NIL, transfer portal, changing conferences, "pay-for-play", expanded playoffs, etc.
With all the ground-shifting changes in college football, I, as a life-long Gopher fan, love the fact that Coyle (in this video) puts a lot of emphasis on things that are constant, never-changing, and important to me personally. Excellence in academics, being consistently competitive with our rival programs, and steadily moving the needle in the right direction for the Gopher football program are the things that will always matter, no matter how the ground shifts under our feet.
To my eye, Minnesota, as a developmental program, is second to none.
