Minnesota was in st paul to watch Marcus Marshall as well as NDSU today.

Carson Shanks the prior lake 7ft soph had Wisconsin and NDSU in today, and Creighton offered.

FYI.

Minnesota was in St. Paul to watch NDSU? What was NDSU competing in?

what sport is that? for a 7 footer?

doll. Tubby was there watching, 2 guys that Minnesota are interested in, YES??

That doesn't answer the question.

You said, "Minnesota was in st paul to watch Marcus Marshall as well as NDSU today."

So my question is, what was NDSU doing while Minnesota was watching them?

Shanks is a kid you have to watch for the next couple of years to see what his upside is going to be. No question he's a D1 kid. Strikes me as Wisc kid as he's not a back to the basket player Seems more of a kid you'd see coming from Europe. He's very skilled.

Marshall has a killer stepback and a decent handle. Not sure he's a pg though but as a 2 the kid can really shoot.

UW is looking for at least one big in 2013, and has spent some time evaluating Shanks over the past year or so. Per a Ryan James tweet, UW was in to see Carson earlier this week.

Any idea what AAU team Shanks plays with?

Minnesota Select 16U. I don't believe they play in Mn this year.

how do they not play in minnesota this year? thats wierd if they dont, isnt it?

Shanks plays for the MN Select 16U White team coached by Mitch Ohnstad. They already played in St. Cloud (lost in semifinals) and they will play twice locally coming up. First in their own tournament May 13-15 at Prior Lake and then at the MYAS state championships the first weekend of June.
