Go Gophers!!

If this comes to pass, I would bet that the 5K students will be louder than the other 39K.

12K-15K will be dressed up as empty seats. Won't be surprised if 44K tickets sold wind up being 30K through the gates.

It's going to be a beautiful fall day. I think the turnout will be much better than 30k.

I know I would be there if it wasn't Yom Kippur. But my seats will be occupied through Tix for Tots.

Have I mentioned I have never missed a (Gopher) game in TCF Bank Stadium? Looking forward to it... as always.

You know, I was going to post a poll about this at the end of the year (since it will have been 5 full seasons) to see how many of us have not missed a game. I still might.

If we have 44,000 in the stands that would be pretty damn good for western Illinois.

I'll be in Tempe cheering on ASU, almost as good as being at TCF. ;)

I wonder how many of Saturday's tickets were bought by Iowa/Nebraska/Wisconsin fans as part of their two-pack and were immediately deposited in the trash. It's gonna be a nice day and all, but I'll be real surprised if we are within 6K of capacity.

Badger fan here. I'll be at the game, since it was cheaper to get season tickets and sell the Nebraska and Iowa tickets to those fans than get the two game pack. Since it doesn't interfere with the Badger game this weekend, I figure I might as well use the tickets.

Still debating on going to that one myself. It would require driving down to PHX one day earlier than I had planned. Should be a decent game though, I hope I end up deciding to go.

You already have maroon & gold, so you'll fit right in with the ASU fans.

^^^You win the internetz today, Doc.

We can all go home now. Or go back to work, which is probably the more likely scenario.

I've been here 3 1/2 months now and I still aren't used to the maroon and old being ASU, especially at Kohl's.

I'm still waiting for the "King Of All Season Ticket Holder Knowledge" to weigh in...

I've been a season ticket holder since the start of the 1996 season. During that time I have missed 2 home games: 2002 vs Buffalo and 2008 vs Western Montana.

The next 2 weeks will be no's 3 and 4 on that list. Can't believe I have to miss 2 games in a row.

Well, we are undefeated when you are not in the building...so...

There is less than 300 tickets left on stubhub. Not sure if that is normal or not.

I've missed one home game since 1998. I'm missing the next three. I'm nearly on tears.

Thank god for satellite TV and the internet. Never thought I would write that.

To me it means that there aren't as many Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Iowa fans out there buying season tickets and the Pick Two as we are lead to believe by the experts.

Some would tell you it's in the thousands. I believe it's in the hundreds, and always has.

Alright - the UNLV game we had the State Fair, Vikings game, and a heat wave. The student section still rocked the house.

Reasons for a great turnout: Beautiful day, Gophers are 2-0, no major conflicts.....Yes, i see 44,000.

I think we all missed that one since the University of Western Montana does not exist.

Well, there is University of Montana Western, a campus of the University of Montana in Dillon. They are a member of the NAIA Frontier Conference. But of course, we played Montana State.

I have some things to do that won't get out until at least 11 AM. Is there any chance that there could still be scalpers out trying to unload their tickets when I could get there around 11:45, or would they have just given up? I realize the value of tickets plummets after kickoff.
