Word is that Moses Alipate's younger brother Marcus just got invited to the Army All-American Combine/game in San Antonio.

What position does he play?

He is getting recruited for basketball too, right?

He plays db/safety, reciever, punter, qb sometimes, and kicks the occasional extra pt. Yes he's also being recruited for basketball.

Look at the statistics for all of is games. He is a game breaker when he has the chance to do so

BB is his sport

HE plays on a bad team with no QB (after injury). He has played varsity BB since 9th grade and is a very good prospect. I would think any invite is because his Dad has connections.

For the record something like 200-300 soon to be seniors or juniors get invited to the combine. Some are All Americans as seniors, some are scrubs. JD Pride got invited and then later didn't get a single non Gopher scholarship offer.

What up buzz kill

BB is Marcus' best sport.

Josh087 Has seen the Alipate's more than I have but when we played against Jefferson Marcus was the best player on the field. He just does not have much of a supporting cast, but he looks like the real deal. Jefferson has had so many injuries this year it is hard to know what Marcus can do. The youngest Alipate(Makius sp) is a frosh at Jefferson and he is is going to be the bets of the bunch in my opinion. He is big strong and fast. Played O and D and did everything well.

The three brothers, Moses, Marcus and Mikias are very different players who play different positions. We should be careful not to compare them against each other.

Moses is obviously much different but I could see Marcus and Makius playing similar positions on a DI football team. Marcus probably safety and Makius LB. I was just so impressed witwhat good kids they seem to be. They played extremely hard but were very polite and respectful even in defeat. I would be happy if the whole family played at the U in some capacity(basketball or football)
