I hear this game is on the Big Ten Network. Think Mankato can put up a fight? I hear they have some good players.

I hope it is on... I'll watch it. I would also like to cheer FOR Winona State if they would get the opportunity to play against another Big 10 school.

I think MSU will put up a fight...on a side note, Andre Gilbert has played against the Badgers when he was with Kansas St. and Marcus Hill is a cousin of former Ohio St. gaurd P.J. Hill.

GOOOOOOOOOO STATE!

I didn't see it listed tonight. Perhaps it's on Bigtennetwork.com?

Aside from that I find it almost impossible to watch Wisconsin. It's like a Chinese water torture. The grinch certainly gets his results but I just can't think of another team that is more boring to watch than Wisconsin.

Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. Yawn. Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. Yawn. Search for the remote.

Watching Wisky on TV the other night, I was very impressed with the versatility of their big men. They have at least 3 guys 6'-10''+ that can play the post, shoot the 3's and drive to the basket like guards. They may be under rated.

I don't think Mankato played their best game last night, but UW really rolled. The Badgers played a solid all around game, and got very good shots (they shot almost 60% from the floor). Leuer was unstoppable (25 and 11 in 25 minutes) and Taylor overpowered Mankato's guards for 20 and 5 assists.

If Leuer and Taylor can stay healthy, I think UW can challenge for the conference title again. Those two and Nankivil are a really good core. Berggren looks ready to provide some solid minutes inside, and Ryan Evans, Mike Bruesewitz and Tim Jarmusz should be solid at the other forward position. The biggest question mark is the other guard spot. Rob Wilson did some nice things last season, but he currently has an issue with his hamstring. UW will need one of the freshmen guards to make a contribution this season. It sounds like Bo has been very pleased with Josh Gasser's play, and his minutes in the two exhibition games seem to be indicative of that.

Should be a really competitive year in the Big 10, with 6 teams looking like solid NCAA teams, and Northwestern having an outside shot at getting in.

I don't think MSU is the team they've been the past few years. Jefferson Mason is the only guy who really competed at a high level. Still, the Badgers look great. And exactly 2/3 of their points (62 of 93) were scored by Minnesotans Leuer, Taylor, Brusewitz and Berggren. Taylor is quick on quick, and he's putting it to better use (better decisions). I do not look forward to playing against him.
