Love the new offensive approach - have to live with this season because of injuries

It is amazing the difference in the offense in just the short time since the coaching change. The team is fun to watch even in a loss. This is just one of those hard luck years that nobody can do anything about when it comes to the injuries. We can always say "What if?" But I see good things in the future is we continue to open up the offense a bit and continue to have a good defense.

Was thinking the same things. Next year looks good.

The prospects look good for next year.
IMHO, Leidner will be a beast...
The offense will be rolling.
D will remain stout.
Look out, we be comin'...

The OL played very well, indeed. With the exception of the 1 blitz & sack, Mitch had good protection all night. We have a couple of highly thought of fresh being red-shirted and with the returners and guys coming back recovered from injury this could be a real strength of this team.

Most importantly, 1 huge change from Kill/Limegrover to Claeys/Limegrover certainly is an opening up of the offense. I would imagine that incoming recruits are loving these changes. Also, the changes in Leidner's performance is pretty amazing. Don't know if it's due to the structural changes in the scheme or if the game has slowed down for him. The improvement is undeniable regardless of what the cause.

Now if we can just get our defense and special teams back...

The Gophers will be 10-0 a year from now.

We had the lucky bounces last year plus we were relatively injury free.

It's great to see the passing game developing with multiple contributors like KJ, Rashad Still, Lingen, and Woli. Did I miss anyone. I am looking forward to what surprises Claeys will roll out next year with his signature "minor tweaks".

I think that we will have an exciting team in 2016. Now, I have to worry about the defense. DT in particular.

We can pick up a few of those rarely seen, elusive SEC DT graduate transfers.

I actually think we will be in good shape next year at DT.

Ekpe and Timms will be seniors, Richardson and Stelter will be juniors, Moore a sophomore, and Hall a freshman. Four guys there that have a lot of experience. Three of those guys are listed at 290+. Right now three of four DT's that are playing are 277 or less.

Yeah on defense we look ok at the tackle spot, bigger concerns to me are replacing 2 corners and finding some pass rushers at the DE position.
