Lots of Recruits at the scrimmage today

I saw Jordan Westerkamp in Goldy's Locker. He was looking at shirts and I told him, "No, no no - you need to find a Gopher JERSEY". He just laughed.

I ran into him again on the field afterward and asked if he found that jersey yet. He laughed and said "No, not yet". I said, "Maybe later?" He said, "yeah, maybe later."

Bjorklund, Maxx Williams, Heifort, and a number of others were all there.

I had my 3 year old and was looking for a hat for him, and then my boy was running on the field and Westerkamp came walking by.

I saw 3 cretin boys there, Nick Rallis was there, also saw Westerkamp, the OL from Eastview (Johnson maybe?), Tommy Olsen, a recruit with a Florida letter jacket that had a 'WR' patch on it and some others that I cant remember right now.

Yes. He was there with his dad. I saw Pirsig... Brewster from CDH, along with a couple of his teammates... St. Thomas Acad. was well represented... Totino had a kid there, as did DeLaSalle... in total, having been on the field for a while before the practice started, there were at least 35 recruits present.

USC coaches will be in town Tuesday recruiting Eden Prairie High School offensive lineman Nick Davidson, a 6-6, 275-pound senior who is son of new Vikings offensive line coach Jeff Davidson. Nick, who is also being recruited by the Gophers, said he has no favorites at this juncture.

The Gophers football staff will have seven coaches on the road recruiting beginning Monday.

Wow, Pirsig may not be the hands down #1 recruit in the state. That kid has some good offers to. Minnesota is loaded in recruiting this year (by our standards). I think we could easily offer 12-15 MN kids this year.

Nick Davidson has a very nice list of offers. Mainly ACC and Stanford. Pretty nice advantage EP has having the Vikings headquarters in town. Hopefully playing close to dad is a priority if Kill offers him.
