I'll eat my new Gopher hat if there isn't at least 5,000 fans at the stadium tonight.
Went over to the Galleria yesterday for the team Luncheon and the mall was packed with Gopher fans. Ran into the cousin of Brock Vereen and she said a group of 12 are in from California to support Brock. Hit the Dueling Piano's Bar and it was packed with Gopher fans and hardly nobody from Tech. Didn't make the Sota-Social, but talked to people staying at the Hyatt and they said it was packed.
Two guys at the Grotto I talked with said they weren't going to come, but decided to grab a last minute flight to Dallas and made the 3 and a half hour drive. All sorts of great stories on people finding a way to make it down. The student bus broke down in Missouri for 5 hours and they made it in late yesterday. It has been a absolute blast down here. Great bars and restaurants, good looking women, and Texas hospitality. Huge UMAA tailgate tonight before the game. Also musical
entertainment.
