they had a very aggravating situation on their hands. Very interesting that this exchange documents what I have suspected for a long time, that the people around the country responsible for hiring, (or at least those at WA, KY, Miami and Auburn) did not want the Mike Leach problem.

With some it would not matter. Leach would be like Mason, after the very first year he would be trying to find another gig and using the U as a stepping stone.
