So much for Coach Monson's run to the tourney. Long Beach lost to Pacific. Tough to beat an ocean I guess. Too bad. I was looking forward to seeing them trashed and thrashed by a 1-seed.

I think LBSU would have been a 15, or even the last of the 14's. The 16's are pretty weak this year - exhibit 1 being Chattanooga.

Hopefully Dan M. is working a little harder these days....

Looking at their roster...it appears Dan is building something. Most of the contribution is coming from freshman and they finished 2nd in conference. Looks like Dan has found a better fit for himself.

I think he must be working a little harder these days. He started to work harder toward the end of his Gopher tenure, but the thing was too far gone by that time.

I actually wish him well and hope he suceeds at Long Beach State. That being said, we are all better off.

I never liked Monse after watching how he handled the Przy blow-up. But, I do wish him the best at Long Beach. His ball may be a better fit there. Agree that all parties are better off with him there.
