Since you are sporting a loon, how do 'we' fix whatever it is? Or is the Loon the Arizona state bird now?
AdditiveGopher, who cares what Arizona's state bird is? Do you have any point for saying "Arizona?"

LOL, the Dems do nothing but label their opponents with little to no intelligence being shown. They ignore economics, they ignore individual responsibility and they literally make shit up, yet you claim they are "intellectuals." You are clearly delusional.
I found your correct avatar -

Sorry Dude - but with how much Howie does that and with how many times posters have called him out for it - for you and him both to not realize I was mocking him is pretty amazing. Shift and deflect all you want.

Looks spooky! Thank God he's an old man and will never be President.
His “ideas” are all the rage among the young and provide all of the energy in your party. This is the direction the country is going. Ignoring it won’t make it go away.
Bernie is not the point. That Bernie is hugely popular, particularly among young voters, is the issue.

Which ideas are those? I have no doubt that you have your finger on the pulse of America's youth from your Edina basement.

Feigned ignorant Howie is my favorite Howie. Howie doesnt know the extent to which socialism is the dominant ideology in his new party. Howie, do you disavow Democratic Socialism? I don’t know that you’ve ever gone on record.

Feigned ignorance is your specialty. No one can top you.

Bernie is certainly a Socialist. As far as I'm aware, outside of universal healthcare, he hasn't proposed the government taking over any private industries. If that one issue makes him a "commie" to you fine. I don't really care. I don't support him or his Socialism.

The majority of the Democratic Party doesn't support him, which is why he lost bigly. Twice. A large chunk of his 2016 support was just "anyone but Hillary" votes. In 2020, once one-on-one with Biden, he lost most states ~70/30. The only states he did well in were caucus states where only the hard core far left tend to vote.

Huh, declines the chance to disavow democratic socialism.
lost bigly and yet it took shenanigans to do it. Clear repudiation.

I did disavow it. You're being ridiculous.

Yes, he lost bigly. There were no shenanigans. Amy and Pete had no chance and dropped out to save face for the future. Amy was going to win MN (maybe) and finish no higher than 4th anywhere else. Pete wasn't going to win any states at all. Bloomberg stayed in and split votes from Biden just as Warren did from Bernie. Didn't matter. Just stop.

Yes, it’s very common for politicians to campaign and spend a bunch of money and pull out the day before the election to “save face” in coordinated fashion.

It's very common for campaigns to suspend the day or two after doing very poorly in South Carolina, which is what happened.

You're desperately trying to score a stupid point and I have no idea why. If Amy and Pete would have stayed in, it would have made almost no difference. Amy would have won MN. Maybe Bernie would have won Texas narrowly instead of losing it narrowly. The winner in all the other states would have stayed the same and the net difference in delegates would have been tiny.

Everyone not named Bernie or Biden would have dropped out after Super Tuesday anyway. And then Biden would have cleaned Bernie's clock just as he did.

"We must speak the truth. Our election was not stolen. And America has not failed," Cheney said.
"Every one of us who has sworn the oath must act to prevent the unraveling of our democracy. This is not about policy. This is not about partisanship. This is about our duty as Americans. Remaining silent and ignoring the lie emboldens the liar," Cheney said. "I will not sit back and watch in silence while others lead our party down a path that abandons the rule of law and joins the former President's crusade to undermine our democracy."

The House Republican conference is expected to vote to remove Cheney from her leadership role on Wednesday.

What a bunch of jackasses some here support and others enable:

"It's not about right or wrong, it's about the focus of our conference, and focusing on pushing back on the agenda that's being pushed by the Biden administration," Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana, the No. 2 House Republican, said Tuesday.

Rest well friends. I'm sure once LIz is bounced from her seat in Wyoming she'll land as a CNN or MSNBC contributor. Rest well.

I'm not going to pretend to know anything about Liz Cheney or how she has operated in the past. She is probably as guilty as anyone of political grandstanding and/or potentially might see additional opportunity down the line. I'm also not going to excuse Democrats for some of the things they did to undermine the previous administration (Russian conspiracy, Kavanaugh, blah blah blah.)

But if you take away your own political bias and really listen to what she said yesterday.....Liz Cheney is 100% right. This is not at all a good look for the Party I stand behind.

Outside of the last sentence of the first paragraph- which I suppose was inserted to reassure R shills of your Conservative bonafides, in order to keep them reading - this post represents a view from an R that would heal both the R party and the country if more folks who felt this way would state it- and use their vote to drive the point home.
