Anyone hear buy one? How did they work? I had a guy around me have one that didn't but he thought the battery might have died.

I bought one, it worked just fine. During big plays, I could hear nothing on the radio because of the crowd noise, but that's just fine. Very clear sound. They rebroadcast the radio signal within the stadium.

That is correct, they will only work in the stadium. They will work during road games in their stadium as well.

I got one, as did someone else in our group, and we commented how nice they were to have. It was great to get the information real-time at the game, without delay. Also, the fact that they will work at the road games will be a big plus. In my opinion, it was well worth the $15 bucks we paid for them...also, I'm assuming they will be used for Gopher basketball as well.

I loved mine. The guy behind me had one and said it was great so at halftime I got mine. I love the fact we can use it each home game and then use it for FM when working out.

I hope they keep this for next season.

Had one at Syracuse last weekend and it was great. Especially given the fact that there was almost no statistical updates/info on their scoreboard.

I was thinking about purchasing one but then I remembered that I can't stand listening to Dave Lee doing play by play.

Exactly. PAY to listen to Dave Lee? I drive 3.5 hours to the games so I don't have to listen to him. Having listened to him so much in the past when I was living in Texas, I know that getting information that is relevant and correct out of Dave Lee is futile anyway.

The radios are awesome for events like the PGA championship and US tennis open when you need more information about who is playing, most people at this site are pretty familiar with our team members. I primarily bought the radio to listen to Ray. Dave Lee isn't very good but the primary value is to get a second opinion on what transpired on the play, and for someone who can see more replays in the booth to tell you what the replay showed is helpful. I'll continue to bring my radio and will listen selectively.

where do you get them

I saw a bunch of people with them (they have the "M" logo on them right?). I continue to use the traditional headset but the delay is driving me nuts - with the headset you have to wait seven seconds for Dave Lee to get it wrong. Can I get one at the stadium this Saturday?

That stinks! I was charged twenty.

It worked okay in the stadium, but I could only hear it faintly outside of the stadium.
