The heart of a lion. Will be glad when the balance of Tubby's players have graduated. The Gophers
punched their own ticket tonight to the NIT. It will be fun to watch Selection Sunday try and put a positive spin on this loss in regards to his bean counting like philosophy.

I refuse to share your negative outlook on either SS or this team. I think we still have a shot at the tournament. However, your plaudits for Dre are well-earned. The dude is an absolute warrior.

The consensus was the Gophers needed two wins to make the dance from the minions who predict. Selection Sunday can speculate all he wants but the bottom line was two wins.

They've got a chance but lil Dre has been our motor all season. Much kudos to him for his heart and determination. The kid is fearless

Yhe minions don't decide who makes the dance, the committee does, the minions have been plenty wrong. I don't think BYU gets in, I think Dayton and SMU will be sweatin just as much as us

Ruppert, since we beat Penn State in the season finale I've been consistent saying 1 win might get the Gophers in, 2 absolutely would. And I still haven't changed that tune after tonight's stinker vs. the Badgers. I'll figure that out Sunday morning. But don't let the facts stop you from putting words in my mouth.

Agree with you on Mathieu. In many respects I think he's become the face of our program. Battled his a*s off tonight.

Not much doubt who our MVP is.

Not trying to go too far off thread topic, but what in the world happened to Dre Hollins the last two games in the B1G Ten Tourney? His play was some of the worst I've seen from him since he's been here. (Outside of the 3 he made at the end of the PSU game.) I was disappointed.

EDIT: Whoops, sorry. See there is another thread about this.

I stand corrected Selection Sunday. I went back and looked at previous posts. You're correct sir!

DeAndre reminds me of Townsend Orr the way he fights and seems to love competition. If the Grinch's heart was two sizes too small, he got one almost to big for his chest.

Mathieu, frustrating as he can be, is my favorite player on this team. I love guys with heart that don't realize their own shortcomings. I think he gets much better next year and has a B1G second team type senior season.

Definitely my favorite on the team also. I'd hate to say it like this but it's how I see it... that Little Dre was in a league of his own and everyone else was just mediocre. I just wish he would shoot a little bit more. His 3point percentage was .400 +, but he didn't attempt over 40 in the whole season. Plus his game is so fast that his teammates couldn't keep up. I saw a few plays where Little Dre would rush up the court, turn and pass, and the Gopher trailing him wouldn't be able to react to the pass. I saw this a lot with Little Dre to Big Dre and Austin.

King's motor runs overtime too. What would we have been without these guys and a revamped Walker?
