Sorry, all I can say is congrats to Kill. In my dealings with him -- albeit limited -- he seemed like a bright, no-nonsense coach who will work his butt off to make sure his teams are tough (physically and mentally), poised and ready to hit for four quarters.

He seems like a great person, too. Not phony at all and his dance with cancer has really left him appreciating life.

Now, will he light up a room and win over Gophers Nation? Nope.

But he'll recruit tough players who love football and they'll be smart and play hard.

That is a good start for Minny and could be good for the league overall.
