"I've watched them," he laughed, "and I lose sleep."

"I've seen them take it from the rim and get out and score in transition," Lickliter said. "It's impressive. It's a situation where even when we make baskets, we'll have to get back and get set. They'll spread the floor. It's an effective offense that helps them compete. We're working on developing what we can to contain them."

Iowa has three players -- freshmen Andrew Brommer and Anthony Tucker and junior-college transfer Jermain Davis -- who are from Minnesota.

"It will be exciting, but I know we have to be prepared," Brommer said. "It's our next Big Ten game and that means more than anything."

"Seems to me there's enough Division I players in Minnesota, maybe we could share the state a little bit," Lickliter joked. "Then they can stay out of Iowa and we'll all be happy."
