I was a little surprised to hear Prince and Let's Go Crazy between the third and fourth quarter. It was underwhelming. The cameras panned to the student section and they seemed bored.
The song didn't work. The gig is pretty good how they have a rotation between the quarters. Roll with it, but take Prince out of the mix.

They played multiple songs of which that was one. Didn't have a problem with it.

They are freshmen...most don't know where they can take a piss and are preoccupied trying to figure out how to get laid without signing a consent form...the U gives all freshmen free tickets to the first game

Now if they could guarantee this with each admission to the game, I can guarantee that our empty seat problem would be solved.

There was also a third time they played it, can't remember when exactly. I love Prince, but it was definitely overplayed. However, I didn't mind it being in the 3rd/4th quarter break. I didn't like the slower song right before Let's Go Crazy though.
 



I don't like that we are supposed to like it because he was from MN. Didn't. Don't.

I would venture to wager that I am the biggest Prince fan on this board. That being said, the music selection between the 3rd and 4th quarter sucked nearly as bad as the scoreboard operation Thursday night. I hope they fix it up because the overall scheme of activities at that time is usually quite good.
