This is getting bad...really bad. I honestly don't think the Gophers are that much better than Penn State and Indiana. I am sick and tired of expecting every shot the Gophers take to brick off the rim. Honestly, that's what it feels like. There is no comforting influence on the court. It just gets worse and worse as the game gets tighter and tighter.
Here is my revised Big 10 predictions. This will obviously change by the middle of the season, but here we go:
Purdue
Michigan State
Ohio State
Illinois
Wisconsin
Michigan
Northwestern
Minnesota
Penn State
Indiana
Iowa

I have to second the Northwestern question. NW lost their best player, by far, for the year. I just don't see how they are going to compete with the Gophers, regardless of how poorly we are playing right now.

NU is 6-1 and has already beaten Notre Dame, Iowa State, and NC State.

Oh boy, here we go with the "be realistic/intellectual" debate again. This is a bad basketball team right now. No doubt about it, but I'm not going to forecast the Big Ten right now, especially since Illinois won a game tonight that Clemson basically gave away and Michigan got beat at home by Boston College.

In other words, we have no idea what will happen once the Big Ten season starts. Until then, let's just take things one game at a time shall we?

Yeah, but the debating is fun, that's all.

I'd significantly move Wisconsin up the list. For everyone who has ripped them (I still hate them), I'd take them over most anyone in the Big 10 except maybe Purdue.
