L'Damian Washington has been a busy man. This past weekend he was a guest of the Golden Gophers of Minnesota.

"Minnesota is looking at me to play free safety. I had a good visit but it was very cold up there."

Washington was named Offensive MVP of the inaugural Sportsman Paradise Bowl, and since then he has become a popular man. Nebraska coach Bo Pellini has scheduled an in home visit to Shreveport, Tulsa has become interested, and a visit to LSU is in the works. With all of this attention, one might wonder where Louisiana Tech falls into his plans. "Louisiana Tech is still in the mix, I have a big decision to make, I hope to have an answer by signing day, but Louisiana Tech is not out at all ."

One factor in Louisiana Tech's favor is the proximity from L'Damian's home in Shreveport to the Ruston campus. "Family is very important to me, I want my family and friends to see me play." L'Damian has not ruled out being redshirted by any school , but has a strong desire to play as a freshmen." If a school wants to redshirt me, that is ok, but if I am not going to redshirt, I really want to play."

Go Gophers!!

This is the time

to stay in the dorm and really hit the books. Remember football is the second reason to go to college.

If they do that the fall semester can be much easier during the football season.

Not looking too good for us when he says it is a) cold and b) he wants to stay close to home...

odd that he would make this trip even if thats what he is looking for

"it was cold up there." that is funny given how warm it got. almost preprogrammed. Good thing he was not in MSP a few days earlier. then he would have really had a war story to bring back home.
