PFF isn't everything, but he graded out lower than Dev Williams last year.
Yeah it's always hard to quite get a hold of what someone could do when they're on extreme great and extreme bad teams. To be fair, the whole Cowboy defense rated the bottom of the conference per PFF which may have been a factor. A huge switch to a few years before when Knowles had them as a top defense in the country before going to Ohio State.
Nice get, between Mav, Williams and this guy got three solid guys to rotate in and it takes pressure off Kingsbury and Carrier to be ready. Guessing this guy can mix in at SAM in certain packages as wellI think he deserves his own thread. Nice addition at a position of need. I can see him slotting in next to Maverick Baranowski at LB.

61 overall. Roberson is 56, but about the same grade in pass coverage. How did Williams grade out?

Oh noes, the internet will assume it's tampering!Apparently his brother played for Oklahoma too.
I also saw that Fleck did recruit him out of HS so they knew each other a little bit already.

Not great generally on the eye test, but I thought he played well in the ball game. How did Williams grade out?
He got on the field for Oklahoma State because of injuries to their starters. I don't think it's likely he's a world beater, but he'll be good, experienced depth and can compete for a starters spot.Looks like he has good size and speed, even if he’s average it’s a great add when you only have two veterans returning.
