Obviously, a legend in the talk show business. There are some great clips out there, I will link a few:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">There are certain videos I periodically rewatch because they are so good. Jerry Seinfeld going off on Larry King for asking if &quot;Seinfeld&quot; got cancelled is one of them. <a href="https://t.co/joZ2iF2ahj">pic.twitter.com/joZ2iF2ahj</a></p>&mdash; Jimmy Traina (@JimmyTraina) <a href="">December 13, 2018</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

One night Larry was interviewing a Playboy bunny and at the end of the interview he said "And tomorrow we will have on the Judds". He asked the playboy bunny "Do you know the Judd's? She answered "You mean the guy from the Beverly Hillbillies?"

Dude was married 8 times to 7 wives.

Must have kept his divorce attorney on speed dial.

RIP.

Go Gophers!!

For the people who knew King mainly through his TV show, I think he was at his best when he had the syndicated night-time radio show. I worked at a radio station in Wisconsin in the late 80's, early 90's that carried King's show. it was almost always interesting. As someone said, great late-night listening if you had a long drive.

and then, on a lot of the same stations, after Larry King they had the Art Bell show where Art would go off on these wild stories about UFO's and aliens. That sh*t was hilarious.

Don't forget "rest of the story guy!"

Anyone else surprised Larry King’s estate is only $2 million? Granted, I’d love to inherit that much, but I figured he had put away more than this much. All those ex-wives were probably expensive.

I'm sure that his numerous ex-wives diminished his wealth a great deal, but keep in mind that this $2M figure doesn't include anything he previously transferred to trusts or that he held in joint ownership or in another manner so that the asset transferred directly upon his death.
